Spring is such a beautiful time of year, winter is over, the plants are coming up and blossoms are everywhere! I love that my street is lined with cherry blossom trees, it makes spring so magical. With University exams I missed the cherry blossoms at my house this year but I did make it to Taves Farms Blossom Fest! This is a 2 day event over the last weekend of April or first weekend of May depending on when the blossoms are out! I was so excited to go this year and it was amazing! All these blossoms will become delicious apples come fall and I can’t wait.
The rows upon rows of blossoms were magical and the perfect spot for a photo! Some might say it is an instagram paradise, I think its overall just beautiful!
The blossoms had a beautiful pale pink colour, spring is just so beautiful I can’t get over it!
One thing I loved what all the bees! I have become much more educated about bees over the past year and I loved hearing the buzzing in the blossoms as the bees pollinate them. There is no need to be scared of the bees, they aren’t there to hurt you and won’t bother you, they have a very important job to do. If you are uncomfortable around bees, don’t stand right in the blossoms, instead stay in the centre. The middle of the rows didn’t have any bees flying around!
A quick note about outfit details! My jumpsuit is from Old Navy, sunglasses from Aldo, and I’m sorry but i have had this hat for so long I don’t remember where it came from, but I think it was winners!
Do you have any blossom festivals around you? If you live in the Fraser Valley be sure to mark your calendars next year to visit Taves Farms Blossom Fest!
