The holidays are such a special time of year. These past few are an interesting mix for me, on one hand its the holidays so I am beyond excited to continue traditions and be with my family, but on the other hand this means exam season and some of the most stressful times of year. It can be really hard to find a balance but I find that making time for those traditions and making some of your own are the best way to celebrate the holidays! Now i think my family and I have too many to share so i’m going to let you in a just a few that help me get into the holiday spirit.
One of the first changes that happen in my home and my apartment is holiday scents in my diffuser! The smell of the holidays will bring a smile to anyones face! I love using some tree scents, or the new blend All The Feels from Saje wellness. This is something that not only gets me in the holiday spirit but also helps me stay calm while studying for exams!
This might not be a tradition but it sure happens every year and gets me ready for the holidays. Planning holiday outfits, this can be really fun or somewhat stressful. I suggest giving yourself time to plan so if you need to buy anything you have time. This year I am obsessed with the Saje farmacy clutch to use for all my outfits. This way my oils are on hand for anything I run into and the clutch looks perfect with all my outfits.
This tradition can be done all year long, but after exams I look forward to coming home, cuddling with my dog by the fireplace reading my favourite books. My family spends a lot of time reading over the holidays so this one might be my favourite!!
A big thank you to the amazing Brooklyn D Photography for the beautiful photos
Those are some of my favourite traditions that happen for the holidays! It can be a juggling act to be festive and focus on school but by planning little traditions like these its easy to enjoy! What is a tradition you do every year?
